It is unclear why weren't any attempts made to capture these uavs despite repeat encounters.
- DSingularity 6y agoDo you think a trigger happy captain wouldn’t request permission to engage/capture these drones? He probably did, it was probably denied, and evidence of these requests were not leaked. This was obviously an exercise between friendlies.
- animal_spirits 6y agoLooking at a couple of the logs it mentions that some were flying 700-1000 feet above deck, seems tough to be able to capture something that far up

- tablespoon 6y ago> Shoot and collect parts This was happening at sea, and apparently at night. The parts probably would have been blown into the ocean and sank or floated away before anyone could find them.
