Inferno was fun back in the day - Limbo is a neat language with some interesting features.
- nine_k 6y agoIf inferno took up, it could fulfill the original promise of Java. Many approaches are quite similar between them — but Inferno also had working relocation of processes between hosts, and well-working IPC ("RMI") out of the box.
- pjmlp 6y agoJava had it via Jini, pity it didn't took off. And I rather use Swing than Tk. Now one thing I agree is that it was Android done properly.
