Warrant Canaries
- LinuxBender 6y agoI don't see any value in canaries. I tend to agree with Moxie [1] and so do the lawyers at my place of work. A single NSL [2] can compel a company to do pretty much anything, including updating the canary despite being a violation of the US constitution [3]. Business leaders will talk tough to inspire confidence, but will back down quickly when they receive a NSL.
