I've worked with people that were rejected 3-4 times from the same place, before finally getting a job there. Getting rejected doesn't necessarily mean "No, we will never want you around here. Do not apply" though it might feel that way. Sometimes there are just too many (great) applicants to choose from. But who knows, that pick could be you.
