I do think the rise of a popular staunchly conservative social network is somewhat inevitable. Twitter/FB have irrevocably alienated Trump, so now we'll just have two worlds in different datacenters, instead of two worlds in a single datacenter. Polarization increases.
- cyanydeez 6y agowe have had nazi forums forever. the problem with conservative social media is they are going to be reminded constantly of how they are minorities, and that will detur the mass from growing and the toxicity will also grow as they refine their most ardent users.
- djohnston 6y agoNazi forums aren't the same as 50-year-old Karen hopping onto Donald's new network though. This could be a significant shift.
