Wanting to spend more time doing things such and volunteering or gardening are exactly reasons why someone might pursue early retirement. It sounds like you agree with the concept but are getting distracted by terminology.
- ericmay 6y agoYea or maybe the terminology itself is bad and the “RE” aspect of FIRE might need to go away. If you’re volunteering for example are you not working? What is work? Definitions definitions... But that’s my fault. I wasn’t specific enough. :) thanks!
