- throw080700 6y agoZigbee got problems with non-free licensing. Z-Wave seems open, is it completely open?
- danhor 6y agoZ-Wave is very closed, afaik only a few chips are available and need to be licensed. Compared to that Zigbee seems to be much more open.

- pantalaimon 6y agoZigbee is IEEE 802.15.4, you can also run 6LoWPAN on top instead of the Zigbee stack.
