Show HN: Career Vault – The largest database of active remote jobs
- DemiliciousOne 6y agoI started working on this last summer during my job hunt because I noticed that existing remote job sites show less than 20 new opportunities each day. As a product manager, I would only rarely discover openings that were a good fit for me because the few openings they had were usually for software engineers. I used Scrapy to pull jobs directly from the career pages of thousands of ~6,000 companies that I compiled manually. Then, I set up a few cronjobs to make sure the scripts are constantly checking for new openings and deleting expired ones.
