  No.... ? Not as far as I could gather. Why would CORS break because of this change? AFAIK, CORS has nothing with the referrer header.

    he's probably talking about referrer checks which are used as a mitigation against csrf

  It only trims path and query information so it should be fine unless the site is overzealous and checks those.
