I would think the type of customer that used Backblaze is orthogonal to a typical Facebook user and is actively hostile to Facebook’s practises. By even considering using their spyware in any shape or form is an egregious breach of trust and the response from your company needs to be significantly better to restore confidence. Also is this “bug” in breach of GDPR?
