- standardUser 6y agoI hope that most start up employees view equity as a low-stakes gamble and not a money-making scheme, because the odds of getting rich, or getting anything at all, are very slim. I know that's how I've viewed my equity at the startups I've worked for. Besides, there are way more tangible and guaranteed benefits to working for small companies and companies in interesting spaces.
