Like the idea, but it doesn’t work: the text stored on the blockchain is also only a reference to the (itself decentrally distributed?) thought. If the last instance of the thought goes away - think civilisational collapse - does the blockchain really still store the thought? And how much will it be worth then?
- fab1an 6y agoNot sure...if "total collapse" is the test case that something must survive in order to hold any value, virtually nothing that we consider valueable today would be valueable in the first place. That said, maybe you're right, but it's a bit of harsh reduction ad absurdum.
