why is resigning not an option?
If you know that he deleted some kind of important data inform the CEO or board members. I don't know this situation looks very sketchy I would abort
- PostTOffice 6y agoThank you for taking the time to reply :-) Golden handcuffs + family obligations. They pay me significantly above my market rate because I am a 'key employee'. My family would have a hard time if I reduce my income.
- sloaken 6y agoGolden handcuffs are tough. Because it is mostly emotional. You would be surprised how inexpensively you can live if you try. I recommend documenting everything! Keep copies. In theory your IT department should have backups of your old work that the guy deleted.
