Unwanted online engagement I can't figure out
https://ayushirawat.com/automate-any-chat-messenger-with-python
This is a simple 3-4 line tutorial, which already there in docs. Not only this post has so many reactions, but making a YT video for this simple sh*t is too much.
Most of her posts have code copy pasted from the docs of that project on which the tutorial is written. And each and every post has a YT video.
Not only this, check out her GitHub --> https://github.com/ayushi7rawat
Basically there is not even 1 project which is useful to the open source community, and she's already having 1100+ followers !
It does not end here. Her LinkedIn(https://in.linkedin.com/in/ayushi7rawat) posts mostly have links to her blog posts. But here too, she has 14,000 followers !
Sometimes I think, these are bots. But still, if someone can explain the reason for this level of online engagement.
- ksaj 6y agoI'm guessing you are simply not the intended audience. And not everything has to be "useful to the open source community." Is it useful to those learning Python? That seems more like what she's after, and it appears she is seeing some success that would sensibly be showcased on her LinkedIn page. I looked in her Youtube-Projects folder, and it looks like she covers a lot of ground with interesting ideas for people wanting to learn python with purpose. It's not the boring Hello World with different conditional loops that everyone else likes to churn out en masse. Also, the LeetCode stuff is quite cool. I don't really see where the dismissiveness is coming from.
