I already did accept the vaccine I was offered.
I'd love to say it was after extensive research but it wasn't - I'm a software engineer not a doctor - in this instance I trust the expert consensus.
I understand somewhat the viewpoint of "it's an unknown risk vs a somewhat known risk" but really the crux of the matter for me was "what would be the benefit of lying to anyone?"
- sigmaprimus 6y agoThat's the fatal flaw that most of the conspiracy theories regarding this pandemic have, why would "The Powers that Be" bother with all the effort? If they are so powerful they could just buy any large drug/food supplier and poison everyone that way! When You step back and think critically 99% of these "Cabal" ideas fall short. That being said, if I was < 30 years old and not in a high risk group. I doubt I would take this years vaccines as I believe it is a reasonable assumption that there will be "straw man" or long term issues that will be resolved in future versions. Given my personal situation, and a great deal of consideration, I have decided to get the jab when my turn comes and that the rewards outweighs the risks.
