Can you get this performance under Linux?

Except for graphics, doesn't everything perform better under Linux? Honest question, this is (practically speaking) my impression after 20 years.

Please keep in mind that Linux is just an amateur operating system written by a college kid from Finland :) It has/had a lot of interesting bugs, like this one in the scheduler: https://www.ece.ubc.ca/~sasha/papers/eurosys16-final29.pdf https://www.ece.ubc.ca/~sasha/papers/eurosys16-final29.pdf

The synthetic tests are all conducted under Linux, with fio and io_uring. It's with every other operating system that you should be wondering whether it can keep up with this kind of hardware.
