  I really can't comprehend how people can be so happy in a country with such long cold dark winters... It seriously got me depressed when I lived in Ireland and that's not nearly as bad in that regard. I'm so happy I got to move to Spain. But I'm happy for the Finnish people :) I just wonder how this works.

  I'd be curious what would happen if GDP were replaced with HDI or GPI in this study/report. I thought there was a bit of a consensus on what the alternative measure to GDP should be, but maybe not. Props to New Zealand for cracking into the Top 10. Would like to see them treat their refugees much better.
