I've mailed Alexandra in the past just to thank her for SH, she's really chill, always willing to answer questions and polite. A true emblem to the service she created... I use SH to get access to papers so I can write for university. Without SH I would be looking at at least 500 US just for memberships to papers (some of them only retail as single docs). While I understand people want to keep 'their' knowledge paywalled I think humanity doesn't truly benefit from this attitude, many of this scientific paper repositories are acting as ransomware to knowledge than could potentially benefit a tremendous amount of people should they decide to allow us lesser people benefit from raw knowledge.
