On OCaml and the JavaScript Platform
- zepto 6y agoThis is awesome. I understand why rescript moved away from supporting OCaml, but I think OCaml syntax is underappreciated.
- cdaringe 6y agoI love this. Just today I wanted to write my gui in ocaml, and plug in some libs I wrote in ocaml from the same repo. I'd definitely like to try your stuff out. Your points on ReScript really resonate with me.
- JoelJacobson 6y agoAwesome. I made a project in Reason some time ago, it was a really nice experience. It is based on an OCaml project, and thanks to the OCaml-compatibility it was really easy to make a web app. The project is a visual interactive regex compiler, using GraphViz D3 to visualize the compiler phases transforming the NFA/DFA graph, into a minimal DFA. The graphs are updated in real-time as you change the regex expressions. This was a fun project as part of a compiler course. http://compiler.org/reason-re-nfa/src/index.html http://compiler.org/reason-re-nfa/src/index.html
