Note that Foone’s rant didn’t specifically reference any comments on this submission, but rather as a general occurrence whenever their content gets posted to HN. Which is definitely a valid observation: from what I’ve seen, nearly every Twitter thread that hits the front page gets the tedious “I don’t like Twitter” and “this should be a blog post” comments (whether or not the thread is from Foone).
