You Can Still Use the Software
- draw_down 6y agoThis is the only thing I've read so far on this issue that I completely agree with. Being fundamental about an ideal of "freedom" that's ultimately beneficial to Microsoft and Amazon is not a priority for me at all. The old reasons for why software freedom matters are what's important. The practical effect of the freedom, not the moniker "free" itself.
