I see some comparisons being made to accountants. A big difference between accountants and bankers, is that accountants (auditors at least) will often be traveling to a client site. It's much, much easier to work long hours when all of your meals are prepared and your hotel is cleaned. I'd say consultants have this the best, followed by auditors, then being a banker just kind of sucks.
