Working in the financial industry, I have a few questions in mind
1) how much of this is actually caused by the candidates themselves? If a bunch of competitive people want to impress their boss to get a job offer, how much will they work as a group?
2) how much of it is caused by their inneficient IT systems? Why invest in IT if each you have a bunch of interns willing to kill themselves to do everything by hand in excel?
3) how much is caused by their boss? A lot of people have a mentality of ''I did it to get my job, so you must suffer too''
