- roblabla 6y agoIt: - integrates rustc into the linux kernel build system - sets up automated binding generation to allow accessing C Kernel APIs from Rust using bindgen - Creates idiomatic rust wrappers around some of those bindings, which is meant to be used by device writers. There's more information in the Rust-for-Linux repo[0] (which is the origin for the linux in rust effort), and in the Documentation/rust[1] folder.
