Network Solutions Still Suffering a Multi-Hour DNS Outage
- buffalobill 6y agoThis outage has caused thousands of websites to be offline for many hours today. Redundancy at the DNS level is so important now. Dyn / Dynect / Oracle / OCI had an outage recently. DNSimple has had an outage recently. Cloudflare has had numerous outages in the past year. When will companies start to care about DNS and put the redundancy where it belongs? I know there are services like dnsmadeeasy.com that have specialized in this. It has never been so important (during this time of Covid) to keep the web resources online.
