  Well, at this rate, U.S. goes through 10M doses in about 5 days. https://covidvaxcount.live/ https://covidvaxcount.live/ > tens of millions of doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which cannot be used in the United States yet. Yet. By the time it is shipped to another country it could have been approved already. It is no like we have more doses than unvaccinated population.

    Didn't a bunch of countries just suspend the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine because of side effects, specifically blood clots?

    Approval isn't expected until April[1]. There are additional tests going on that will hopefully clarify the blood clot issues that have stopped the vaccine's use in other countries. A number of other countries are also waiting on those results.
