American tax code. I have become the de facto tax explainer in my circle, being able to provide explanations for taxes that apparently many of my friends' accountants are unable to elucidate for them. I'm not sure exactly why it clicks for me so well, but I've found that even among those used to working with equally arcane processes/codebases, taxes still evade their comprehension.
