Living On Mars – The stuff you never thought about (2017)
- ggm 6y agoLiving under regolith is in "Red Mars" i didn't have to think about it, because Kim Stanley Robinson thought about it for me. As did the BIS in 1949 hypothesised moon habitation. I don't mind a good hook title but this is kind of insulting the reader
- jiri 6y agoI liked especially living in cliff walls in "Red Mars"! Anyway "Red Mars" sold me the impression of many people being "outside" quite a lot. But with accordance to dust problems this does not seems to be too likely. Moving freely in the world with similar gravity would be probably one of the killer features of colonizing another planet/asteroid.
