A lot of crypto-expats are going to carribean island nations.

More seriously, yes, some people are content with living like a rich native in the global south but for anyone else who plans to participate in the global economy (and I assume they do, because capital controls would likely only affect high net worth individuals), they would need to convert to EUR/JPY/CNY/USD.
