Perhaps:
The public official is raising funds (from investors) for a new toll road. They discuss LOTS of possible locations for the toll road and they don't want to freak out the locals with "highly unlikely" possibilities. Of course, public opinion will be assessed on the "best" 3ish options.
A more relevant example might be:
A public official is looking at various failure modes of the electric grid. He wants to raise money (or redirect funds) to shore up "the biggest" problems. Private discussion might include hyperbole like "this risk is worse than you realize"- and this might unnecessarily worry the public.
Of course, CSPAN is public, and no one watches that. So, whatever.
- selimthegrim 6y agoIs this CSPAN 8 - The Ocho covering Texas legislative sessions now?
- geoduck14 6y agoI was talking about for our federal government. I didn't realize there were 8 CSPANS. I kind of want to get cable now, just so I can watch THE OCHO!
- selimthegrim 6y agoIf you find it let me know. It probably airs the congressional baseball games.
