- webmaven 6y agoA bit more context please. Are you most interested in making something for consumers, businesses, or other developers?
- person_of_color 6y agoAnything that will make me money..
- webmaven 6y agoI am pretty sure you don't really mean 'anything'. If I am wrong about that, there are plenty of ways to make money that are legal but distasteful to most folks that you can pursue.
- MH15 6y agoI'm working on designing and implementing a new programming language right now. Most of my work is for the web platform (be it frontend or backend) so this is a nice break. One of the more "back to CS fundamentals" projects I've done in a while.
- Jemaclus 6y agoThere are tons of CLI tools that might be useful. Personally, my go-to side project is to build a MUD (an online text-based multiplayer RPG, totally free. To play around with a popular one, type this in your terminal: telnet avatar.outland.org 3000. No affiliation with Avatar, but it's my favorite one to play.) There are some open-source MUD libraries written in C, C++, and other languages that might be a good reference. No web interface required!
- bepitulaz 6y agoBuild the CLI tool or bot. I think you can utilise Telegram or Slack bot as the user interface.
