What is the best way to learn how to program?
I have no coding experience. Thanks.
- kevbin 6y agoWhat is your interest and motivation? Do you want a career as a programmer? Solve a particular problem? Automate aspects of your current job? Start a new hobby? How do you like to learn? What resources are available to you?
- paul_russo13 6y agoI am working on this-- https://www.monklee.com/ https://www.monklee.com/ --and want to pursue technical entrepreneurship. My interests lie more in strategy and product, but I still think it's good to know how to code.
- a3n 6y agoFollow along with the Python tutorial. https://www.python.org/about/gettingstarted/ https://www.python.org/about/gettingstarted/ https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/ https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/ As you work along with the tutorial, be mindful that most of what you learn is similar to most other mainstream languages. At some point you'll get a feel for what programming is, and what Python is. At that point, start exploring some of the other material in the beginners guide. You'll also start to think about some small personal projects. By now you'll have a sense of how to find answers to questions and problems that occur. Now you're off to the races.
