How close does Happy Eyeballs Version 2 [1] come to doing this? And I wonder how widely implemented that algorithm is now.

- tptacek 6y agoI thought that had more to do with discriminating between IPv4 and IPv6 than in selecting the fastest possible A or AAAA record, but the concept is similar.
