- pmdulaney 6y agoThe real heirs of Marcuse's "repressive intolerance" are on the Right only in the sense that Marcuse couched his theory in terms of a marginalized subculture, which conservatism now is. But in terms of who is actually carrying out acts of repressive intolerance, clearly the Left has not relinquished its totalitarian mantle.
