What's the state of tail call optimization on JVM nowadays?
- kag0 6y agoIt's a compiler level thing, not runtime. ie. Scala has tail call optimization but Java doesn't, but they both run on the same JVM.
- ObscureScience 6y agoThat's interesting, I have been under the impression that Scala and Clojure has been limited with this optimization because of JVM.
