Adobe Forces Takedown of Tweet Linking to 27-Year-Old Product
- zepto 6y agoIsn’t this the usual story where copyrights have to be vigorously defended for legal reasons or courts question their validity? It’s also reasonably likely that this old version of Acrobat contains 3rd party IP that Adobe themselves licensed, and don’t have the right to freely distribute. Neither of these are ideal, and should be part of a good case to make for IP reform, but I don’t see how it helps to educate people by publishing these stories without describing how things work.
