You know nothing about Darfur, so why are you having opinions about it. Also the issue is that America DOESN'T intervene in genocides and neither does the international community - not consistently. Kosovo is one "good" example, but the international community waited far too long to act really.
What people object to is the rhetoric of intervening in Iraq becuase of the suffering of the Iraqis. This is just a complete lie. People critise America becuase its "intervention" or "invasion" of Iraq causes hundreds of thousands of deaths and the displacement of millions. It WAS NOT about saving Iraqis from Sadam.
The reason we didn't intervene in Syria was becuase we couldn't work out who's side we were on and so we're not interested. We couldn't internationally organise to try and prevent the violence becuase everyone was trying to work out who the "good guys" were like some bunch of stupid children. This whilst doctors from round the world travelled there and worked in the most awful conditions to try and save as many human lives as possible. Trying to stop loads of people dying should be the focus imo, not being on the 'right side' as you suggest.
