The Sahara and the access to it already belongs to some countries, that may not be stable enough to host such critical infrastructure.
- tda 6y agoThough not so nice, there are ways to "stabilize" sovereign foreign countries to ensure energy stability. Just look at US middle eastern politics. Not saying we should, but I'd rather have the effort got to solar power in the northern Sahara than extracting fossil fuel from Saudi-Arabia
