I have had issues with the traditional job boards like indeed since they all filter by location, maybe they handle "remote" better now though? It can be hard to know if a job is truly remote, or "remote" as in "only come in the office once a week" which doesn't really work if you are on the other side of the country!
I have actually had my best luck right here on HN! The monthly jobs posts are great.
- tempestn 6y agoIndeed used to be awful for remote jobs. They required any remote positions to be sponsored, and since their sponsored posts are ppc, when your budget ran out your ad would just disappear. They've gotten far better since last time I used them though, likely forced by the pandemic. But yeah, that negative perception obviously still exists for some. Too bad it's mid month - I doubt the March hiring post here is still getting many views. Will give it a try though, and definitely post on the April one too.
