There's an assumption that older accounts somehow have better or different taste, which I find incredibly questionable. I think it's more likely that they just happened across the site sooner, and happened to stick around. I'd like to see the frontpage but sorted by votes from accts with a lot of comments, or a lot of karma. That would be more revealing
