People have always been saying stupid things. The only difference now is that if you say it online, it's saved forever. Yes, it's quite possible most would withdraw their statements if they were publicly confronted -- but, does that make it better? If I am feeling anger/hatred toward a race, but does not speak up in public, is that not "real racism"?
