At the risk of sounding cold...they seriously suspended it because four people showed issues? Out of more than 100k doses? That's microscopic, a rounding error compared to how many people die from covid.
My own mom keeps pointing me to articles of "vaccine deaths", in quotes because many aren't even clear. I keep explaining that even if that's the case, 1k deaths out of 30m vaccinated sure sounds better than 500k deaths we've had in the 30m infected.

That's microscopic, a rounding error compared to how many people die from covid. Rounding error compared to the death rate over the course of the entire pandemic in Ireland (92.1 deaths per day per 100k) or rounding error compared to the current Irish COVID death rate (0.334 deaths per day per 100k)?
- axaxs 6y agoBy looking at the death rate of covid itself in an entirety, which is currently about 2000 deaths per 100k cases in Ireland. So 500 times worse, just like the US numbers.
