Vitamin B12 =/= Vitamin D
One is dependent on dietary choices, the other is not.
- zerof1l 6y agoThere are both Vitamin D and B12 supplements, but in both cases it is better to get them from natural sources. D from the sun and B12 with some kind of food where it occurs naturally.
- BlargMcLarg 6y agoSalmon and tuna are definitely dietary sources of vitamin D. Fatty fish, some other seafood and other animal products contain vitamin D to varying degrees. Most people can't make enough vitamin D on their own outside late spring, summer and early autumn, nor do they have to.
- leadingthenet 6y agoThat’s true, and so is red meat, eggs, milk, and so on. But these sources of Vit D PALE in comparison to both the amount you need, and the amount you can produce just by being outdoors for a while. You’re right, though. Salmon is a one or two orders of magnitude better than the rest.
