- vmception 6y agoCan we use machine learning to fill in probable missing DNA pieces? (instead of like, frog DNA like in Jurassic Park)
- CGamesPlay 6y agoYou’d probably train that ML model on complete strands of DNA (including, say, frog DNA).
- shakna 6y agoIt is extremely unlikely that there is any DNA left to extract. DNA's half life is a little more than 500 years. [0] Any reference to DNA fragments from millions of years ago should be held with a lot of scepticism. We're unlikely to ever see a Jurassic Park style approach.
