The driving experience of an ICE engine versus an electric motor of the same horsepower is not similar. They have much different acceleration curves and driving experiences.
- Retric 6y agoAcceleration at low speed is one thing, but near top speed EV vs ICE makes minimal difference. An underpowered car is going to be slow either way. What people notice about EV’s is really an artifact of being cars having extremely overpowered engines but ineffective transmissions to maximize the use of that power.
