I find it strange that a skeptic would have more favorable views of MOND & Bohmian Mechanics. These theories are different from, but by no means better, than their competitors. I think what we're looking at here is more like an impulse towards iconoclasm. But one must generally hold up something as an alternative and it's easier to choose a pre-existing candidate than to create your own.
