Dear Dang and YC: as someone who has been admonished in the past for not walking over eggshells while criticizing CCP, I’m genuinely surprised at the unchecked vitriol that is allowed in this thread against Brahmins, IITs, Indians, their culture and so on.
Thank you!!
- bobosha 6y agoI disagree, while there are some unsavory comments, this thread is allowing sunlight into some bad aspects of the Indian-American subculture. We - I am Indian-American myself - need to be serious about such allegations and not get defensive.
- yumraj 6y agoI’m not at all being defensive, merely pointing to the double standards.
- bobosha 6y agoAgain respectfully disagree. "double standards" is in the eye of the beholder. Barring some incendiary comments, this dialogue has been healthy & necessary. My 2c.
- yumraj 6y agoWell, aren’t you making an assumption that my comments where I have been admonished were deserving and not similar in vein to the ones in this thread.
