I understand the frustration from having your dreamed-up name taken by domain squatters, however, as we've seen many times, you can succeed with any domain name.
Google succeeded despite not having the search.com domain, Instagram didn't have the photos.com, and Uber did not own the taxi.com nor the ride.com.

- carmen_sandiego 6y agoIf only it were as simple as the absolute best and most directly related word being taken. Almost every phonetically acceptable combination of characters as a .com is taken up to 6 letters long. Google would not be able to hand-register Google.com if it were founded today; they'd have to go aftermarket.
