  Fuushima happened. Chernobyl happened. It is not disaster propaganda. Japan was hit with a disaster. Same with USSR. Nuclear advocates have a tin ear as far as the fact that nuclear failures don't have a theoretical cap on disaster magnitude. It's a simple enough fact. No theoretical limit to the extent of the damage, beyond "end of life on Earth". Even the dreaded fossil fuel business does its mass extinction events at a more manageable tempo. Arugably, there should be conventions against use of any technology that has potential for irreversible harm to the environment.
