TIL. I was so excited to try this out, finally a cloud provider with decent pricing (especially considering I'm on South America). Definitely the best price around here by a long margin.
But then I just spent 20 minutes trying to sign up. Every time with my credit card being rejected due to "wrong billing address". Never had this happen before to me, I tried pretty much every permutation of my address. Sigh, I guess Oracle will always be Oracle.
- samurai_noobie 6y agoI don’t think that’s an Oracle issue. Had my credit card locked out after some tries recently, maybe try another?
- napsterbr 6y agoThe odd thing is that my credit card had a successful $1 charge on each sign up attempt. I might give it another shot in the future though.
- stjohnswarts 6y agoDo they have a homepage in your country that you could start the process on? Stuff like you're saying happens to me all the time because I usually have my VPN going 24/7 and financial transaction companies (some) do NOT like VPNs. Pretty often I have to turn it off for a few minutes to use a credit card. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
